A distribution of rollover contributions, Partial-Sum Distribution, Lump-Sum Distribution, Rollover out of AP-MPPP, Installment Payments, or any combination of the aforementioned withdrawal types are available to all AP-MPPP participants who have separated service from the City of Aurora Police Department. These options may not be available if you have separated service from APD, but maintain employment with the City of Aurora under another function or department. Please be aware that there may be tax implications for taking a distribution from your retirement plan prior to attaining age 59 ½.

Participants are also strongly encouraged to contact the Plan Administrator and/or consult a tax professional for guidance prior to taking a distribution from AP-MPPP.
