On January 5, 2025, the Social Security Fairness Act was signed into law, repealing the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) rules for Social Security. This change directly impacts participants in the Aurora Police MPPP.

The Great-West SecureFoundation is a guaranteed income benefit that would be a good fit for individuals expected to live well into their 80s or 90s and for those seeking a guaranteed source of income within the plan.
